著名电脑外设公司Razer今天宣布将赞助CPL赛事,即CPL Singapore 2006. 去年CPL选择了新加坡作为CPL World Tour的亚洲站点,其成功的举办也让CPL看到了亚洲市场的无限潜力,在那次比赛中Razer也是CPL新加坡站的赞助商之一,介于双方有了第一次成功的合作经验,而且CPL的权威性和专业性也得到了Razer的认可,因此这次Razer再出大手笔赞助CPL也在情理之中. CPL Singapore 2006将于今年9月15-17日在Orchard Road’s Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza举行,那里也是新加坡最繁华的商业区.比赛项目为CS 1.6和Quake 4. Counter-Strike 1.6 is a widely popular team-based Half-Life multi-player mod game featuring a counter-terrorist theme. Quake 4 is an extreme First-Person-Shooter game with blistering fast, weapon blazing action. Registration is open to all amateur and professional gamers aged 17 years and above.
